I was a Palestine supporter and Israel was my dream vacation for years, I recently came back and it was the best trip of my life

I was a Palestine supporter for years until I watched a video of an Israeli soldier saving Palestinian children from a burning building while being attacked by stone throwers. I realized I had been deceived by the media but still didn't want to support Israel. I learned more and more about them and whilst I didn't agree with their way of governance, I decided to be neutral.<br><br>I had been wanting to visit Israel for years. I am an Asian female so I assumed I would be treated poorly as I heard they were very racist towards foreigners, however when I got there everyone was so welcoming. I was able to explore the whole country safely, and I felt in awe at the beauty. totalPages<br><br>I learned more about the conflict and I realized the whole world was just lying. I met many Palestinians and was able to explore their territory, I learned about the suffering they were facing. However I noticed that many of them were not in support of hamas, and many of them acknowledged that the situation would not be solvable for a long time. <br><br>I have never felt so ashamed, for years I have been supporting the wrong side, and I am so glad I had the chance to see the truth. I now openly support Israel.
