I'm a freelance writer for a number of media outlets in the Middle East. Middle Eastern media is controlled by various governments or theocratic regimes. This means pretty much all Middle Eastern outlets are hyping up for war, across both sides of the conflict. There is a lot of hate, a lot of hyping up of militaries, a lot of promises of bloodshed. The writing is on the wall.<br><br>I've lived and worked in this region for years. It's not like anything I've experienced before. It reminds me a lot of what Germany must have looked like in the 1930s. I'm actually a bit scared about what the next few months might bring.
