I asked out a girl to a date and she told me she doesn’t like me in that way then I told her I am a good friend and wouldn’t want to date me either

She asked me to go out with her to a concert and I think she felt sorry for me. I am not judging myself or feeling bad about it, the friendship is still intact. I think she wants my undivided attention in a romantic manner and I do not want to give it to her. I realize even though I am lonely I will be single for a while. I’m okay with it.
