I have worked at a luxurious high end resort, so that is the only comparison I will use.

Some of my responsibilities at this job were:

\*Create 150-200 games per day

\*I worked with a team of 2 guys and had to give out game assignments via email each morning, I also had to tell the boys how to make the games, that gets old after a while, I found myself repeating myself a lot and I had to reinforce the very simple, yet specific instructions everyday because we also had a lot of turnover.

\*I worked with the kitchen making sure they were on the right track for the day as far as making the games for the day, they were responsible for making up to 500 of our games per day, depending on the demand.

\*Naturally, I also had to control quality, so I had to check that each games was made correctly.

\*I had to respond to any complaints from the guests (customers) when they had an issue with the games they received.

\*I also had a contribution that was expected of me, so I had to make a certain amount of games on top of managing, I also had to check each one of my games to make sure that it was of high quality.

\*I also had to make sure that I had enough staff and supplies to make all of the games.

\*I also had to check in staff that were coming in to work, that was adding up to 10 staff per day, so that is 10 people you had to make sure were there and accounted for at the beginning of each day and throughout the day.

\*I also had to deal with turnover, so when someone would leave, I had to replace them and train them, as well as being consistently watching that the quality remained high.

\*I also had to work with the concierge, because they were the ones booking the appointments for the games, so I had to make sure that we had the right amount of games and that we were making the right type of games for the appointments that they were booking.

\*I had to work with the front desk to get the games to the right people at the right time, so I had to coordinate with them to find out how many games to send and when.

\*I also had to make sure that the games that we were making and sending out were made in the right way, as different appointments require different types of games.

\*I also had to make sure that everything was clean and secure at the end of the day, so that when we reopened the next day, we were good to go.

\*I also had to deal with the staff conflicts, so if staff members weren’t getting along, it was my problem to manage that, some of the staff conflicts were so bad that I had to have security intervene.

\*I also had to do interviews and testing for new staff, so I was responsible for hiring.

\*I had to manage payroll, which included making sure everyone was paid and had the right amount of hours.

\*The list could go on and on, I worked so hard everyday and I was so tired, I don’t think I have ever worked harder in my life than I did at that job.

I was paid $26/hour, but I would have to be paid significantly more to ever go back to that job, just curious how much others would expect to be paid to do that job.

Edit:

I made 3 different types of games, they were all edible and they all came in different flavors.

I worked at this resort for 8 years.

I worked upwards of 60-80 hours per week.

I worked at this job from 6am to 4pm or sometimes 2am when we were slammed.
