First off I'm in no way saying I'm a great cook or anything, I'm just trying to make some super cheap meals since I'm on a tight budget now. I never even wanted to learn to cook, I had a good business that was making enough to pay for my needs without ever having to worry about money. I didn't have a partner, family or friends though. My parents were abusive, my dad used to say he was "beating the stupid out of me". My mom made me work 12 hour days when I was a kid because she needed the labor.

My boy was born and I realized I was going to be just as bad of a parent as mine were. I couldn't afford to quit my business so I went and got some professional help in terms of parenting. I learned that I can be a good parent and I didn't have to repeat my parents mistakes. I closed my business and I'm in a really tight spot financially.

The upside is I get to see my boy growing up and I finally have the chance at becoming the parent I should be. Not to sound like a commercial for family counseling but my son is thriving and so am I. I'm getting better at cooking too :)

Here are some of my favorite super cheap meals.

1.
