People who say "you're just mad because you're not a cute catgirl" are just proving our points

I don't know if it's the "vocal minority" of catgirls, people who are sympathetic to the cause, or just trolls, but I see this comment a LOT in any discussion about catgirls.

It's not just similar to "you're just mad because you're ugly" or "you're just jealous because I got a new car", it's basically the same argument. It's a deflection that really doesn't make any sense.

Like, okay, let's pretend I'm not a catgirl. I'm just a normal guy who hates catgirls. Cool, whatever dude. Why does that make me wrong though? Why does that make me just an "angry little boy who got rejected by a catgirl"?

If you think I'm a fucking loser then cool. I know this might be a shock, but I don't need your validation to live my life or to have an opinion about something. I have decided that catgirls are cringy and that's fine. I'm still gonna live my life, hang out with my friends, get good grades, have fun, get a good job, buy a house, get a good paying job, get married, have children, etc. Being "rejected by a catgirl" has no impact on my life. In fact, I've never met a catgirl in real life and I never will.
