Rant: You can eat healthy and not break the bank

I see a lot of posts of people saying that they cannot afford to eat healthy because of how expensive it is. If you are prepping one of the most important things is planning; most of the time you can purchase perfect ripened produce that is also on sale instead of going for the organic bullshit (there is actually only 1 category of organic which is USDA certified, but that is a different rant).

Buy on sale and plan you meals around that. I also think people have the wrong idea of what healthy is; you don't need to go out and buy "quinoa" and "kale" to eat healthy. You can buy rice, beans, chicken and frozen vegetables and cook a healthy meal. I have made burritos with only rice, beans, cheese and salsa and the cost per meal comes out to under 1.50$ a meal.
