I'm going to be evicted and I don't know what to do. I have never been in a situation like this before.

I'm literally so scared and nervous, I just don't know what to do.<br><br>I got a job offer in a different city over 200 miles away. It's a contract position with the company, full time for 3-6 months, so they're moving me to this city and paying me for it. They've made a lot of progress, but there was a delay and I was supposed to move on the 25th of this month and now I won't be moving until the 16th of next month. Just 2 weeks more. I had already given my notice for my lease so when I got the news, I approached the property manager and started talking about keeping the apartment for a little while longer. He told me there was someone else who had their eyes on the apartment and they're taking it if I leave, but they haven't signed anything yet. He says they might take it if I stay, because they need a place as soon as possible. I literally have no money to pay the rent, I've already stopped receiving my paychecks so I'm living off of my savings. I'm sweating because I just feel like I'm getting evicted and I don't know what to do. I have an offer, I have a job, I have a future ahead of me but my landlord doesn't care about that.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>I need to pay the rent in 4 days or they're going to start an eviction process. I don't have the money and I know they won't work with me because they want me to go. The person who's interested in the place has already said they'll move as soon as they can. I'm going to reach out to him, I don't know what else to do.
