I'm a 30-yr-old homemaker with a degree. How do I get started on a career in book publishing?

I've been a stay-at-home Mum since graduating university. My family is my biggest priority, but now that my child is preschool age, I've been itching to start my career.<br><br>I haven't worked for several years aside from some freelance library research gigs. My degree is in English Literature. I've volunteered at book festivals and events, have written for book blogs (just for fun), and have been an editor for a friend's blog. <br><br>I know I am coming from way behind.
