This is a chambers account, not a personal website

There are a couple of problems with the recent trend of users just speaking straight to a single chambers account they're interested in, as if this entire place is dedicated to them. If this is you, pay attention.<br><br>* Firstly, nobody wants to see this entire sub hijacked for your own purposes. You just came here, but you're not contributing anything. If we wanted to read personal love letters, we'd get a spam filter. This is not your personal dating site.<br><br>* Secondly, you're probably wasting your time. Nobody here knows your relationship history with that particular person. If they wanted to receive personal messages from you, they'd probably be dating you. If they wanted to be the focus of a chambers account, they'd probably be running one themselves. We have no way of knowing what prompted you to suddenly start sending them love letters, and chances are they'll block you anyway. Can't help but feel like projecting all the time is a turnoff for most people... and that you're just embarrassing yourself...<br><br>* Thirdly, the only people who enjoy your spam are other people who also want their own personal chat with a particular person. Yeah, you just came here, but now you've inspired other newcomers to waste their time in the exact same way. They'll see you, and they'll think that this is normal.<br><br>**Please take your personal messages to a *personal messaging platform*, not a chamber designed for a general discussion. If you want to share your personal feelings, that's fine, but don't expect anyone to take you seriously if you post a message that starts "Dear...".**<br><br>Edit: I am going to add one more thing: if you see someone talking to a specific person, and you read the comments, you will see me (and probably others) pointing out that what they are doing is stupid. Don't be fooled into thinking "oh, this person with the same name is talking to the same person... it must be okay." No, it isn't. Just because some person with the same name is already making a fool of themselves by throwing themselves at the feet of the object of their desire, does not mean that you should jump in and do the same. We are all pointing out the first guy because they committed *the* cardinal sin... if you just throw yourself into the exact same situation, you're still guilty, and you're still an idiot. Just because *everybody and their mother* are already doing it, does not make it any less stupid.<br><br>*Every single person that comes here and does that is a waste of time.*
