This is a bit of a throwaway, but I just got a personal account from someone in the military, and it's basically identical to what we've all been saying

This isn't as throwaway as my previous one, because I have my main account on this throwaway for reasons that will become clear. I use this throwaway to message my friend who I met in my class I'm taking this semester. I don't want him seeing all my stuff on my main, so I just use this. This is a message he just sent me that I found to be very insightful. <br><br>What do you think he means when he says, "not to talk about politics, but [insert politics]" ? I can only assume he's trying to get it out of his system before he does something stupid. This isn't the first time he's done this. Remember when he said, "we don't need the military."? So strange.<br><br><br><br>>bro, I can't wait to get out of this fuckin country. Not to talk about politics, but the United States ain't what it used to be. I don't recognize it anymore. I'm trying to convince my mom to move out of Texas as soon as I'm out of here as fuck. She's on board. We'll fuckin go to Oregon, and then eventually Canada, Iceland or Australia. I won't be comfortable living in the United States ever again.
