If you are a parent who wants their kids to inherit all their money, then you should keep accumulating wealth. Don't go on stupid vacations and buy stupid "gotta have it" crap

This may not be the most unpopular opinion but hear me out. I'm not talking about your average middle class family. I'm talking about the rich. Rich as in 5 million dollars plus (at least this is rich in the US, I think that other countries rich is considered differently).

I'm not saying that you can't spend any money. But obviously there is some Line between being reasonable and not being reasonable. I have heard so many stories of rich people who spend millions of dollars to go to some fucking island to go fucking scuba diving and all this other stupid crap. Or spend millions of dollars on a painting or some bullshit. Or to give themselves a birthday party that costs tens of millions of dollars. I think this is stupid as hell, and you should keep accumulating as much wealth as you can if you want all of it to go to your kids.

I'm 22 years old and I make good money, but I'm not rich. I have tried scuba diving, and it was fun as hell. But You can scuba dive without spending millions of dollars. You can go on a very nice vacation without spending a million dollars to go on a nice vacation. I don't even know how a fucking birthday party costs tens of millions of dollars. This is just stupid as hell. It seems like these people have an addiction almost to spend money on stupid crap. They can't help Themselves. And if you are this kind of person, then I feel you should give all your money away to charity and not give a cent to your children. Because you are not a good steward of money and you are not a good steward of wealth.

Reasonable is one thing. On another level is another level. If you want your kids and your grandkids and your great grandkids and your great great grandkids to inherit all your money, I feel like you have a moral obligation to keep accumulating wealth instead of blowing it on stupid shit that is going to be irrelevant in 2 years. If you can't handle that, then give it all to charity.
