I'll never understand why men are concise and women are overly verbose.

I've just gone through a spew of comments like this from an argument my gf and I got into today and it's insane. Our argument occurred over text, and I was posting in an online community. In my mind, if someone reins anything from a message, they date to take concise and descriptive messages. Since our entire conversation was on text, I was concise with my words. She no matter what couldn't get her head wrapped around that and called me a jerk. I was dumbfounded. Why would anyone want to write 100 words when you could get the same message across in 5?
