People that make false accusations to get an easy arrest are terrible people.

I had a kid get caught last night. Sped off in his fast car, got wrecked and searched. Found drugs and his phone had a bunch of texts offering to trade drugs for stuff he had boosted.

Anyway, he told dispatch he had been shot at so they rolled up quick. It turns out he was driving so fast he lost control and wrecked. Sped off because he boosted the car. He was searched and found to have a needle in his arm.

When the deputy asked him what happened with the wreck he said "he was shot at"

I looked at the wreck and clearly saw he had been going like an asshole and blew a curve. I asked him "how your car was shot at"... he doubled down with the BS. I told him the car hadn't been shot at and he eventually admitted he had lost control. He was arrested for false report and the search revealed illegal drugs, heroin and meth. It turns out he had been in a wreck on Saturday and had clearly been told to make up a story to get the officer to roll up quick.

It was a pretty minor accident and he lied to get his buddy to roll up. I don't arrest people for accidents. Be a grown ass man and tell the truth.
