The British monarchy is not a dictatorship. The difference between a constitutional monarchy and a dictatorship is that the monarch is bound by the laws of the country.

After the stupid post about the British monarchy being a dictatorship, I want to clarify that the British monarchy is not a dictatorship at all. The British monarch is head of state, but their powers are constitutional, meaning they're bound by the laws of the country. It's the Prime Minister that's actually in charge, not the monarch.
