If you're a true conservative, you need to stop supporting Israel.

Israel is an openly socialistic, secular nation that is completely at odds with the values of America. The right to bear arms? Lol you can't even own a shotgun in Israel unless you live in the countryside. Right to free speech? Israel sends undercover agents as children to report you to the government if they suspect you of being disloyal to the state.<br>So why do conservative Americans support Israel so fervently? Because of God? Well I thought Jesus was supposed to be the messiah, not the government of Israel. If you want to follow the new testament Jesus Christ would say we should all love each other and work towards peace and prosperity for all.<br>Conservatives have been bamboozled into supporting Israel because of "MUH RELIGUN," or because they believe that Palestine is filled with angry, bloodthirsty people who want to wipe Israel off the map. It is complete bullshit, have you ever looked into the history of this conflict? The history of the USA's involvement in it?<br>Most people are familiar with the fact that Palestine was taken over, but do you know what actually happened? What "a land without a people for a people without a land" actually means? It means the US and Britain forcibly relocated hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in order to create Israel in the first place.<br>Around the time of WW1, the Ottoman Empire began to dissolve and the Middle East was all of the sudden fair game for anyone to colonize. So the UK and USA said fuck it, let's make Israel! And they began to pump Jewish immigrants into Palestine, all of a sudden the Jewish population sky rockets. So the native Palestinians get a little pissed that all of a sudden their territory is being settled by foreigners and get angry.<br>The British, who are supposed to have control over Palestine at the time, just allow the violence to happen, allow Jewish immigrants to continue being settled in Palestine by the US and UK, and eventually the invasion becomes so large that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are forced to leave their homes. It is commonly referred to as the Palestinian Exodus.<br>Look at the way the US government acts towards Israel. We give them billions of dollars a year in aid. We veto every single resolution that condemns Israel in the UN, no matter how heinous their crimes are. I can't tell you how many times Israel has committed war crimes, killed children, tortured people, etc, only for the US to veto any attempts at holding them accountable at the international level.<br><br>This is all because Israel and AIPAC have complete control over the US government. That is why the USA continues to advance Israeli interests instead of American ones. The people who blindly support Israel are traitors and have no idea what they are doing.
