A social media site that incorporates a campaign to save the environment (idea)

Every person posting on the site earns 1 carbon point per post. The amount of carbon points you can earn per day is capped at 5 posts a day. <br><br>Each post can be upvoted and downvoted, if a post gets upvoted you earn 0.5 carbon points for each upvote (capped at 5 upvotes per post). You can earn unlimited carbon points for comments (one carbon point for each comment (one comment per minute)). Each upvote for comment also earns 0.5 carbon point (capped at 5 upvotes per comment).<br><br>You can earn a maximum of 15 carbon points per day (5 from your own posts, 5 from upvotes for your posts, and 5 from comments). The amount of carbon points earned is dependant on the amount of upvotes earned per post/comment. So if a post/comment has 3 upvotes you only get 1.5 carbon points, if you have 7 upvotes you still only get 2.5 carbon points. This ensures users are not just spamming posts/comments to get more carbon points. It also encourages users to post and comment and get upvotes.<br><br>Each carbon point is worth 10 pounds/dollars/etc.<br><br>Once you have earned a certain amount of carbon points you can swap them in for cash (paypal, bank transfer, etc) (min payout 15.00) or you can spend them in the site shop on anything you like. The shop sells various items. <br><br>Some items cost a lot of carbon points to buy but each item that costs more than 100 carbon points comes with an environmental saving of some sort. For example, spend 100 carbon points and a tree is planted. Spend 500 carbon points and another five trees are planted, spend 1000 carbon points and 10 trees are planted. <br><br>There are also other tiers of environmental saving that are a lot bigger and better. Spend 1000 carbon points and a solar panel is bought and installed on a home that cannot afford solar panels. Spend 5000 carbon points and a wind turbine is bought and installed on a remote island that cannot afford electricity and the residents are relying on gas and diesel powered generators.<br><br>For the bigger and more expensive environmental saving options, you cannot buy these. You can only get into a prize draw to win these gifts. So you would spend your 5000 carbon points on 5000 entries into the prize draw.<br><br>The money earned from users buying carbon points and the site ad revenue and the money earned from interest on the money in the site bank account would pay for the items in the site shop and the environmental saving projects.<br><br>When you buy something in the site shop costing over 100 carbon points you will be shown a photo and description of what you have bought, where it was installed, etc.<br><br>Edit - sorry for the long post lol.<br><br>Edit - I am not going to patent this idea, and I do not mind if anyone uses this idea.
