My son is the reason I don’t have a medical license.

I am in my 30s now and I was in medical school in my early 20s. I took a year off to have my son who my ex and I had at 23. I dropped out of medical school to have him. I then met a new guy, who became my husband, and we had a daughter. <br><br>I always planned on going back but in my mid 30s I decided being a stay at home mom was enough. I just couldn’t balance school with raising two kids. School in general is expensive and time consuming. My ex paid child support but I was still a young single mom trying to juggle everything because he didn’t want to be in our son’s life. I didn’t have the time or finances to make it work. Someday I plan to go back but I’m just not sure. For now I’m happy with my life.
