The Universe is familially " self conscious."

This is the simplest way I can frame my idea. Feel free to be mean, and jam me up. I am ready for it.

familially " self conscious:" v.s "completely self conscious."
(I am going to try to bring into question the nature of the universe in a fairly abstract and non scientific way. I am not a philosopher but I am familiar with some philosophers. )

I think what I am going to say is very similar to Kant's metaphysics of morals, applied to the universe. But I am not entirely sure. I am hoping that you can help me understand it a little better. familially " self conscious" is self awareness similar to humans, but incomplete and non human. While being "completely self conscious" would be God like self awareness, where the universe knows everything about itself in every way.

My understanding of human consciousness is very different from anything else in this world that we know of. it is an interesting observation that some people needs to have intimate understanding of external world to be "self aware" of their internal states. e.g. some people are only able to understand their internal states after they are able to understand the external world, specifically other people. This is an important key. While plants and animals and even cells have a running internal dialogue with themselves as expressed through chemical, electrical, and other signals, they don't appear to require external knowledge of anything outside of themselves in order to have that internal dialogue. They seem to be able to function fairly independently of outside observation or interaction.

Now human consciousness is very different. Many people struggle to understand themselves without interacting with other people. So much of our consciousness is framed around our interactions with other people, our self image depends on people outside of ourselves. This familially " self conscious self:" can be seen in the way that some people who go through some kind of trauma are never able to express what happened to them until they have found someone who they are comfortable with. In a way, external understanding of the trauma cant happen until someone else is able to know about it.

So what does this have to do with the universe? I think that the universe is in a process towards self awareness. What do I mean by this? Well, something that I have thought about a lot, is how human beings started as just collections of atoms on the Earth. Then those atoms started combined into elements, then molecules. Then eventually, self replicating molecules. Then those self replicating molecules evolved into cells, which combined into tissues, which combined into organs, which combined into systems, and systems combined into animal bodies. Then eventually, we had human beings who were able to perceive the external world. And then we were able to have a dialogue between ourselves, and eventually a dialogue with others.

Then other animals came to know us, and we to know them. Then our knowledge expanded out into more plants and animals. Then into the heavens to know more about the planets and then the atoms again. Now we know a lot more about the internal workings of the universe.

So the atoms which combined together to form the Earth, are able to now know the workings of atoms in the universe through the mechanism of human knowing. So the universe went through a process of separating, and then coming back together to form human beings who can now know more about the internal workings of the universe.

This process is not complete. There is still much to be known about the universe, and the universe still has much to become.
Additionally, the universe is still becoming more complex and more able to understand itself. The internal dialogue of the human mind, as expressed through language and other means, is an example of the universe becoming more complex and self aware.

This process of becoming familially " self aware " is a gradual process, and it has not yet culminated into the universe being completely self aware. In other words, the universe is slowly coming to know itself gradually, over time.

This process can be seen in the universe, which started as just a simple collection of atoms and particles, and continued to combine over time to form more complex systems, until it ended up in the human brain.

The universe is in a process towards becoming completely self aware, I have no idea how long this process will be. It may be billions of years, and it may be never.

Now this is self awareness on a familially human level, but it is familially human " self awareness:" v.s. "completely self aware."

But what does this have to do with anything? Well, to me, this means that we are connected with all other things in the universe. It's a kind of pan-en-theism. That the universe is connected with all of it's parts, because it is all on a journey towards self understanding.

I know this isn't a complete theory of anything, but I think that it is a useful way of framing our understanding of the universe and of human consciousness. it provides insights into the workings of the universe and human beings, and the relationship between the universe and human beings.

Feel free to point out any flaws that you can think of in this idea.
