My wife and I (both 28) booked a flight and hotel last minute to try to evade hurricane ida. We're from Louisiana and already dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Laura.

Honestly I'm just waiting on news about our house and hoping our neighbors and I can band together to clean it up and rebuild. This is our first time traveling together and we're really making a mess of it. What are some things we should do in case of an emergency like this? What if we lose the house, how do we set up a new bank account in a different state, get some kind of ID, set up insurance claims, etc. I'm just really lost right now, any advice is great.
