Amazon to lay off another 9,000 employees on top of 18,000 earlier this year

Amazon plans to eliminate another 9,000 jobs, the tech giant said Monday, just months after it cut 18,000 roles. CEO Andy Jassy said in a blog post that the cuts will primarily hit the company’s cloud computing unit, advertising division and Twitch, a video streaming service.
