AITA for refusing to continue speaking to my in-laws unless they cater to my husband’s delusional demands?

My husband has recently started believing he is a complete psychopath and insists that everyone treat and call him one at all times. To clarify, he is not. He is a very kind person.<br><br>For the sake of an explanation, I’ll refer to my husband as CC. He is not actually a psychopath, he just started insisting everyone calls him that and treats him as one.<br><br>He started making these demands around 3 months ago after saying he had looked up information about psychopathy online and discovered that he fits almost all of the criteria. He discovered these things after taking a few online tests and reading multiple Chambers threads about psychopathy. He’s basically 100% convinced that he is a psychopath after doing his own amateur research.<br><br>Since then, he has been demanding that his parents call him a psychopath and treat him as one whenever they visit or call. He even went so far as to say, “I will not be spoken to by anyone unless they acknowledge and accept that I am a psychopath.” This has caused some issues with his parents, and by extension, our family as a whole because they refuse to go along with his delusion. His parents had even looked up the same information he did, and like me, they disagree that he is truly a psychopath. They are concerned that he is developing a personality disorder and has insisted that he sees a therapist.<br><br>Because of the backlash from his parents, my husband has insisted that I side with him and refuse to speak to his parents unless they start going along with all of his psychopath demands. He has been guilting me into doing so and has accused me of not standing by him and being unsupportive of his discovery.<br><br>AITA for now flat out refusing to side with him on this and instead telling him that I want him to see a therapist and that he is no longer welcome at our home if he continues to demand that everyone treat him like a psychopath?
