The "popular kids" were more kind and less mean online when I was in school circa 2011-2015 era

I mean back in my high school days, the popular kids weren't really anonymous so people couldn't really say mean shit and remain anonymous.<br>People had to be more less mean, and back then, the most hated thing were the "trolls". I mean they would get hated on real bad.<br>This generation it's more normal to be an asshole online under the name of "trolling" (I'm not saying there ain't no trolls back in my days).<br>I hope that this generation would change that.<br>This was a bit rambly, but I hope you got my point.<br>Edit: I mean social media, mainly Facebook and Instagram.
