Soon, all the oceans will all consisting of acid juice from the nails that the devil clips every morning. But people still wade into the acid to pan for gold. Why?

The devil takes his morning clip into the ocean with a satisfied sigh. It has been hundreds of years since he started saving all the clippings, and now the ocean is an acidic broth of death.<br><br>But he doesn’t care. He’s the devil.<br><br>He gets up and frowns because his sleeve is all wet. It doesn’t wash out very easily. Oh well. He walks back to his castle.<br><br>A young man approaches the ocean, wading into its acidic waters. He becomes a skeleton in three seconds.<br><br>But he grows back. The devil has a good health plan, and he’s one of the few who actually takes the time to sign up for it.<br><br>So the young man approaches the ocean, wading in.<br><br>“Why on Earth would you do this?” The devil asks him.<br><br>“Is gold worth it?” He asks.<br><br>“Hardly.” The devil searches his memory to try to remember the last time he actually used gold. “There’s a gold chair on the throne room. I haven’t sat in it in centuries.”<br><br>The young man wades in. When he’s a skeleton he crawls along the ocean floor.<br><br>Soon, a lot of people wade into the acid to pan for gold. <br><br>Why?
