Is anyone here concerned that this sub is being used to gather and exploit our deep personal concerns? Further that it may be part of a larger agenda to explain away certain...concerns...with the idea that it's some kind of mass delusion?

I'm not saying I know this is the case. I'm saying that it concerns me. If you look through these kinds of discussion you will find that a surprisingly number of people have experienced the same things. Some of the events are so outlandish that to explain these kinds of things happening to so many people at different times in different places as a mass psychological delusion is to push the limits of reason.
