Just because you have depression or any other mental illness doesn't mean everyone should let you off the hook for being rude and/or being a dick to others.

I think there is a lot of people who use their depression or any other mental disorder they have as an excuse for being an asshole. I'm not saying otherwise good people will become complete assholes when diagnosed but I think people believe they can get away with being rude and disrespectful and when someone calls them out on it they pull the poor me card and everyone lets them off the hook.<br><br>EDIT: Also I have generalised anxious depression and I'm actively training to be a therapist.
