People who get offended by pronouns are being fucking stupid

I am a woman, and I go by SHE/HER pronouns. If someone accidentally called me HIM instead, I would just say “actually its HER” and that’s it. Not a big deal at all. Why does it offend some people so much, like what the fuck is wrong with people who get angry about this, its literally a non issue.
