I’m going crazy over these bugs.

I’ve lived in my home for 7 years and this year is the first I’ve seen more than a few Western conifer seed bugs. I live in central New York. I had to buy a vacuum to suck them up every morning. It’s like a never-ending horror movie. Does anyone have any idea why it’s so bad this year?
