AITA for telling my friend to pay me $30 every time he picked up my baseball bat?

&#x200B;<br><br>My(15m) friend(15m) came to my house to hang out and he saw my brand new baseball bat and asked me to let him use it to hit some balls that I got with the bat, I didn't want to let him use it because it is very expensive and I didn't want it to get ruined but he convinced me by saying he will return in the state he took it but the only problem was he kept hitting it on the concrete, the grass and elsewhere and I saw that he didn't care for the bat so I told him I can't let him use it anymore because he keeps wasting it and hitting it on random stuff and that he was hitting the balls wrong but he said I was being paranoid as he didn't do anything to it, he only made a dent but to me it was enough and I told him to stop but he didn't and I had an idea to charge him $30 for using it and he accepted and as he was using the bat I kept telling him to pay me $30 and he got annoyed but I kept asking him and he kept saying yes but after a while he said that I'm being dumb for charging him $30 and that he doesn't have that much money to give me every time and I told him to give me the bat and stop using it but he didn't and instead he kept using it and every time he used it I kept asking for the $30 and he got mad at me for that and said that I was being a little jerk and he left and didn't talk to me for 3 days and when he was willing to talk again he said that I disrespected him and that it was only a bat and that it's not a big deal and I told him that it was a big deal to me but just spam asked me for $30 and he said he doesn't have the money and he won't pay me and that I'm being a little jerk and he told his other friends and they said I was being an asshole for doing that<br><br>EDIT: expensive to me is $150
