How does a G19 G4 gen4 stand up to other pistols?

How does the glock 19 stand up to other pistols? I am in the market to buy a new pistol. I am looking for something reliable and durable, something that would last very long, something that could be used for concealed carry, home defense, target shooting, and maybe hunting. Glocks are known for their reliability and durability but I don’t wanna miss something else that could be better for my needs.
