**Disclaimer: I am in no way a doctor and I am not encouraging Kratom use. Consider this a side effect journal because I couldn't find much Kratom research and I want to share my experience to help anyone make a decision about using Kratom.**

**TL;DR: /u/kratomwhore encouraged me to post my experience. I went from being a spicy boi to a normal boi, and it was 100% Kratom. I'm not saying /u/kratomwhore is on Kratom, I'm saying this conversion happened to me after regularly using Kratom for 2 years. Please consider the risks and benefits and watch out for side effects. I couldn't find much Kratom research so I'm sharing my experience.**

Here's a side effect journal because I couldn't find any research on Kratom. I'm not a medical professional. Please read my experience, do your research, and consider the side effects.

I used Kratom for the past 2 years. I was on a variety of strains, but mostly on Green Vein, Red Vein, and White Vein. I would usually take 1-2 teaspoons daily.

In the beginning, I felt like a "Spicy Boi." I was more energetic, I was laughing more, and I felt more social. I could focus better on my daily tasks and I had more motivation. I was taking breaks at work and studying for exams with more energy.

Over time, side effects started to kick in. /u/kratomwhore was right. I started to lose my libido and it was not fun anymore. I became constipated and my digestive system got messed up. I felt like I had anxiety but I couldn't move. I had heart palpitations and I was getting headaches. I was getting dizzy and lightheaded and I was having trouble sleeping. I felt like I had withdraw symptoms when I was off of it. I was irritable and I couldn't control my mood. It felt like I was a ticking time bomb and I couldn't go on like this anymore.

It was a rollercoaster ride that I wouldn't want to take again. I'm not saying /u/kratomwhore is using Kratom, but I want to share my experience so you can make a decision about using Kratom or not.

I'm not saying anyone else will experience the same thing, but I hope my /u/kratomwhore conversion helps.
