I was trapped by a group of men and if it wasn’t for some strangers I would have been kidnapped and possibly worse

I was at a restaurant in Torrevieja, Spain with a friend, and we were leaving as it was past 11 o clock.<br><br>We walked through the back door of the restaurant to get to the parking lot and get into our car and go home.<br><br>We had taken about 3 steps out of the restaurant when we noticed 5 men who were clearly drunk standing in front of the parking lot, and they were looking right at us.<br><br>They were wearing dark clothing, and they stood in a formation, with one man on either side of the path and 3 in the middle.<br><br>They were the only people in the parking lot other than us.<br><br>The moment we were out the door, they walked in our direction and surrounded us.<br><br>We tried to go back into the restaurant but they wouldn’t let us and said we couldn’t go back inside.<br><br>They were saying things like “hey, you look nice” and “come and dance with us” in thick accents that I couldn’t understand.<br><br>They were grabbing their crotches, and one of them had put a clenched fist to my face, and I had to duck to dodge it.<br><br>We tried to scream for help, but they started screaming over us.<br><br>The leader of the group said “no one will come to help you because we’re too drunk and have been drinking all night”<br><br>They were trying to drag us into the alley way.<br><br>I had pepper spray in my purse, but by the time I got it out, the men had already grabbed me and my friend, and they had their arms over our mouths, and if I had sprayed the pepper spray, it would have gotten all over our faces and into our eyes.<br><br>We were struggling and our feet were thrashing in every direction, and they were trying to drag us into the alley way.<br><br>I noticed that the leader of the group had a small knife, and he was trying to bring it down to our throats.<br><br>As they continued to drag us into the alleyway, a blonde woman with blue eyes (who was clearly Scandinavian, probably Swedish or Danish by her accent) and a tall man with short brown hair (who looked British or Irish) happened to be walking down the alleyway and noticed that something was terribly wrong.<br><br>The woman came over to us and started screaming as loud as she could, and the man punched the leader in the face and everyone fell to the ground, including us.<br><br>The men were still trying to drag us into the alleyway, but the woman and the man were pulling us away from them.<br><br>They were still trying to grab at our legs, but they were too drunk to stand up after the man had punched the leader in the face.<br><br>The woman and the man were screaming at the top of their lungs, and they were asking if we were okay and if we needed an ambulance.<br><br>They helped us into our car and waited until we were safely out of the parking lot and driving away.<br><br>If it wasn’t for that couple, I have no idea what would have happened to us.<br><br>They saved us and I am so grateful for them.<br><br>I don’t know who they are, but they probably saved our lives.<br><br>Please be careful and lookout for other people.
