I'm lonely. I don't know how to make friends. I'm not depressed, I'm just really lonely.<br><br>I'm 40 and female. I'm very successful in my career but I'm sincerely socially awkward. I've been on dating apps and I just got off a 12 month relationship last year. I'm not 100% introverted so I need some social interaction but I don't know how to meet people.<br><br>I'm not necessarily looking for a boyfriend but I'm tired of feeling like Tom Hanks in "Castaway." I want someone to go on adventures with, hang out with, go to the movies with. I don't know how to meet people. I have a limited social circle but I don't want to just rely on them. I don't want to just be with someone to be with someone. I want to be valued and I don't know where to start since I don't know how to make friends easily.<br><br>I'm not depressed.
