By its very nature, communism is incompatible with the principles of freedom. Communism inevitably leads to authoritarianism, and it is contradictory to say that communism is good for freedoms, as many people do. This is because communists say that it is incompatible with capitalism and the market/free economy, because the market economy leads to a conflict between the classes. But the thing is, if you abolish the market economy, it effectively abolishes the conflict between the classes, which is only good for communists, because communists profit off of this conflict by using it as a rhetoric, to convince people that we need communism, so that we don't have a conflict between the classes. Communists don't care about freedoms, they only want a revolution so that they can overthrow the current system and establish a communist one.

The thing is, communists are not the first people to want to abolish classes, people from other ideologies have also wanted to do that, but they didn't want to abolish the market economy to do so, and this is what makes communism so contradictory and not compatible with the principles of freedom. By abolishing the market economy, communists also inevitably have to abolish any remaining freedoms that we have by forcing people to give up most, if not all of their money to the government, so that the government can fund itself and so that it can redistribute the wealth. When you give so much control to the government and you force people to give up their property, it inevitably leads to authoritarianism, which contradicts the principles of freedom. If you disagree with this and if you want to convince people that it doesn't have to, then you have to give examples of how a communist system would function, without being authoritarian, but you can't do that, because you know that it is a flawed ideology.
