The “Great Depression” of the Chambers Western Conifer Seed Bug community has begun

I mean seriously, how is it this bad? 5 posts (including this one) in the last 30 days. When I first joined, we had no shortage of decently funny jokes about the bug. I’m told by those who know more than me that we had the Great Depression of 2008-2009, the Great “I’m Stagnant” of 2012-2013, the Great “I’m Depressed” of 2019-2020, and now, the Great “I’m Just Tired of it All”. When I joined two years ago, there was still a decently-sized community. How has it gone so downhill? There’s still a decent amount of people who post here, but something is just different. Maybe it’s all the Covid burnout. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s friggin 90 degrees outside and nobody wants to be on their phone. Maybe it’s the fact that nobody’s got any goddamn seed bugs these days. Whatever it is, I’m tired of the lack of seed bug humor that I see on this site. I’m tired of the constant stupid shitfights that I see. I’m tired of this stupid heatwave that’s been going on for the last goddamn week. I’m tired of this stupid heatwave that’s been going on for the last goddamn week. I’m tired of seeing this stupid heatwave that’s been going on for the last goddamn week. I’m tired of all of this stupid shit. Stupid posts. Stupid bugs. Stupid weather. Stupid people. I’m just tired of it all.
