Why are women required to be so emotionally available all the time for free?

Why is that men have no problem asking a woman to step in and mother them and to provide them all of their emotional needs, yet they don’t want to provide for women? <br><br>As women, we’ve always been socialized to prioritize everyone’s needs over our own. We cannot even go near men without them assuming that we’re there to provide for them (weird appropriation of maternal instincts is not a coincidence). <br><br>Women are socialized to mother everyone, except for themselves.#####
