CMV: A doctor should be able to sue a mentally ill ex patient for any injuries they cause if they have been warned that the patient is a threat to them.

I think it should be legal per the “foreseeability” rule if a doctor has been warned of a threat from a dangerous mentally ill ex patient. So if a mentally ill ex patient sues a doctor for any reasons, the doctor should be able to sue the patient for any injuries that the patient causes. This should extend to security costs, therapy, etc.<br><br>I don’t think there should be any exceptions unless the threat is withdrawn, and there should always be some sort of burden of proof in place.
