I narrated a YouTube video and learned that Google does have accessibility tools that can narrate for visually impaired. What I want is enhanced accessibility in YouTube that can be controlled by viewers. What I have narrated in a video can be heard if you go in to audio settings of a video. That’s what I would like to see in a “Accessibility” tab in YouTube settings.

I can narrate a video and it will be stored as part of accessibility tools? What if more than one person can narrate a video? I can narrate a video in English, someone else in Spanish and another in French? What if we can hear the background noises? For example, someone cooking in the background may make it difficult for someone to hear the narrator.

How about live streams? In a live event, there is a crowd, band, etc. We can filter each and hear them separately.

Lastly, someone can narrate a video in the style of a character. For example, audiobooks can be narrated by someone else. What if we can hear a video being narrated in Morgan Freeman narrated style?

I think this can be done without necessarily reimagining the audio recording of a video. Just like we have auto caption for live streams, we can have auto narrator (use of AI similar to voice cloning).

I don’t really want to build a startup company but I see this as a minimum viable product. I think it will be a game changer.
