Does anyone else feel that philosophy is seriously lacking in actionability?

I’ve been heavily into philosophy for the past few years but the more I learn, the more I feel that it’s a lot of talk but none of that talk leads anywhere. It’s more like story telling than it is applicable science. I don’t know what to think about that.
