What is tip culture like in the majority of the world?

I am European, and I've been to a few different countries in Europe and in the Middle East, and I've seen tipping cultures different to what I've seen in my home country. But that's only a small slice of the world. <br><br>What is it like in places like South America, Asia, Africa and Australia? In my country we tip 10-20%. Is it like that everywhere else, or is it different?
