What is a decent history you can bring up to prove that the USA are not much better than the Nazis?

I often have debates with Americans who claim through actions and proof that the USA is completely different to the Nazis. I’ve always enjoyed using the fact that the USA rounded up Japanese citizens who weren’t on the enemies list (like an Italian American) and separated them, forced them to live in poor conditions, etc. In the same vein as concentration camps. It’s just a fun fact I use every now and then to prove that the USA can be as bad as the Nazis if they want to be.
