America is great, and I wish most Europeans would go online and read history books instead of screaming at Americans online.

I hate most modern Europeans, maybe because I'm a history nerd, maybe because Europeans do not understand the purpose of the United States and how it functions as a country. People are screaming online at Americans to stop being nationalistic, telling them to fuck off, calling them idiots, and so on. <br><br>It's very frustrating, because Europeans know little about the tough times we have been through. What is the purpose of Europe? What has Europe done for the world? What has it done for its own continent? If you want national pride, you should learn more about the history of the United States. We are the ones who fought and defeated Nazi Germany. We are the ones who stopped Imperial Japan. We are the ones who helped you through the Cold War. It was our actions that helped you have your own countries and your own cultures, because otherwise you would be speaking German, Russian, Spanish, or Portuguese. The United States is not perfect, and we have not done everything right, but we have done more for the world than Europe ever has.<br><br>A lot of you hate America and say we are arrogant assholes, but don't you see the reason why we are like that? Everything we've worked for has been for the greater good, for you and your families to live good lives. We have been through slavery, civil wars, depressions, and wars that have left our countries in ruins. We have fought and died to stop terrorism, communism, and the oppression of people. The United States is the greatest country there is, we have helped the world and proven to be a great ally to anyone we care about.
