Every decade is the best for anime

There's always that one post on this sub (it's usually a post on Facebook too) that rants about how the past decade was better than the present for anime and how it will only get worse with time. I think this has been going on for years in the anime community. <br><br>I don't know what the 80s and 90s were like but I'm sure if social media were around back then I would see the same posts about the 70s and 60s. <br><br>It makes me think about what will be said in the 2030s about the 2020s and so on.<br><br>I imagine the 70s was like the birth of anime, the 80s was its youth, the 90s its beginning of adulthood, the 2000s its peak, and now its married with kids.
