A lot of men believe that they are incel because of how women look (being “hypergamous”) however its usually because the women find them to be threatening/ problematic.

A lot of incels blame women for being shallow and caring only about looks however, its usually not that. A lot of the times its because women find these men to be unattractive because of their personality and how problematic they can be. Women usually find men that are unattractive/ unappealing when they say racist, sexist, homophobic/ transphobic things or when they have an extreme lack of empathy. (This is not saying that ALL women are like this, everyone has different preferences)
