The right to vote WON'T save us... at least, not for now.

So feminism is moving in the "right" direction... we got the right to vote, the right to property, and so on. But the truth is that neither of them actually help us.<br><br>The right to vote helps men. They have better paying jobs, so they have more time to get into politics. Men can even _buy_ women votes. When women _do_ get into politics, they inevitably side with men or they end up being puppets for men who dangle power in front of them. It will take a long time before women will be able to invade the male-dominated political system.<br><br>The right to own property is also a joke. First, property doesn't mean anything if you don't have the means to acquire it. Second, if a woman finds a way to acquire a good amount of property, men will inevitably find a way to steal it from her.<br><br>Same thing with work. Women are not allowed to go to the best schools, we are discriminated against when looking for a job, and we are paid less than men. Sure, things are slowly improving, but the truth is that it's going to take a looong time before we will be able to earn the same as men. By then, it will be too late.<br><br>The truth is we have no power, not in the current system. It's either kill or be killed. It's either _war_, a war by any means necessary, or death by a million cuts. The right to vote and to property is meaningless if we don't have a way to put it into practice. Do we wait? Do we rot? Are we content with the crumbs that fall off the table? Are we not worthy of better?<br><br>When will women rise up and take what's rightfully ours?
