Losing weight is easy

I’ve been 5’11 230lb since April of 2022. I went on a diet, got a gym membership, started walking each morning. It was easy. I cut out all the junk food and got a treadmill. I ate salads each day for lunch. I do all my shopping at farmers markets now. I’ve got a stupid amount of energy now and feel great, both mentally and physically. Just cut out the junk food and get off your ass just a little. I’m down to 180lbs now and I feel amazing. My blood pressure went back to normal, my sleep quality is better, and my heart doesn’t feel like it’s going to explode at any second. The gym gave me free classes to learn how to do every weight equipment they had. I learned how to run properly. I tried kickboxing and I loved it. It helped melt off my belly fat. It’s sooo worth it. I have a desk job and I thought I was doomed to die of a heart attack but now it’s not as scary. I take care of my body properly now and I don’t feel like a slug anymore. It was really just cutting out the junk food that did it. I tried to lose weight before without the gym and I got down really low. I was 180lbs then too. It’s been over a year. So far so good.

Edited to add: I broke down in tears the first time I had to walk a mile and a half to my car in the heat.

I threw up after my very first workout at the gym. I thought I was going to die. I couldn’t even walk for a mile. I just almost cried in the locker room because I hurt so bad.

I gradually just pushed myself harder and learned how to actually work out instead of just winging it. And I ate more fiber. That was my problem. I wasn’t pooping enough. So I ate more fiber and drank a gallon of water a day. It really helped my blood sugar levels too. Just drink a gallon of water a day.
