Indian space agency ISRO's Mars mission has entered its final orbit

In a significant milestone for India's space programme, the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Mars Orbiter Mission has entered its final orbit around the red planet. The mission, which is on track to make India the first country to successfully land on Mars, is designed to study the planet's atmosphere, geology and search for signs of water.
