I saw a man in a trench coat and umbrella on a beautiful day

It was a sunny day in Portland Oregon, a 7/10 as far as weather goes. Walking home from art class I saw a tall man in a long trench coat, with a black umbrella. I thought to myself, “why is he wearing a coat, it’s not raining” and went about my way. But the image of the man stuck in my head for a while, until I was in my room I was thinking about the man in the coat.<br><br>Now when I think of the trench coat man I flash back to that day when I was the most unaware of my surroundings, I was a kid and I didn’t know it. I just liked art. That moment, was the most blur that I have ever experienced in life. It was like seeing a ghost or a mythical creature. I went straight to my room and drew the man, so I would not forget. I’ve had a lot of weird encounters in life, but this was one that stuck with me, since I was 14.
