For every dollar you make, a random person is given double the amount

You receive a magical item known as a "sypron" which magically gives you double the amount of money that you earn for every dollar. The catch is that 50% of the money you receive goes to you, and the other 50% is randomly split up between others. For example, if you get a job that makes 100 dollars, you get 50 while the other 50 is randomly distributed among the people within a 20 mileage radius. It can be split up among few people (5 people get 10 dollars each) or several people (50 people get 1 dollar each). But the catch is that nobody knows when a sypron is triggered. You don't even know when it happens. The only sign that a sypron has been triggered is that whenever the money is given to people, showers of sparks fall from the sky like fireworks. Some people could go their entire lives without ever seeing the sparks and the syprons. But you can't imagine the look on your spouse or friends' or family's' faces when glitter falls from the sky, as if the heavens themselves have blessed you with random wealth. But the sypron isn't a blessing because of the wealth it brings you... It's a blessing because of the luck and prosperity it gives you. Whenever the sypron is triggered, your luck increases, and random events of good fortune suddenly occurs. You get a free meal at a restaurant. You find twenty bucks on the street. You dodge a car by a split second. You meet the love of your life. You win the lottery. You avoid an impending disaster. Your life is suddenly filled with lucky accidents and fortunate coincidences. The only problem is that you never know when the sypron is triggered. You can only guess. After all, you only see the fireworks when you are physically within the mileage radius. If you're in another side of town, you would never know if someone received a sypron and you got the money. You would only be confused as to why random people were suddenly having good luck all around town. It's a burst of random fortunes happening all around you, with the only clue being the sparks in the sky. But sometimes, the sypron is triggered without the sparks. Sometimes, you would get random good fortunes for no reason at all. You can't rely on the sypron to bring you good luck. After all, you can't control when it's triggered. But if you're lucky, you could get a sypron in a life or death situation, bringing you a second chance. But you don't know when or if it will happen. The only thing you know is that as long as you have a job and earn money, the sypron will always be there, waiting for you to unlock your own fortunes. But only if you're lucky enough...
