Does anyone else feel weird about it? It's like OpenAI pays a guy to hide his ads in the daily so we don't receive adblocker warnings, but somehow it's fine because he's not doing it for money?

It's like, what? Is this some kind of loophole? Like, "Hey, we're not paying him to do this, we're just paying him to do this... but not really." Yeah, that makes total sense. Not.

And the best part is, people are defending this. They're like, "No, no, no, he's not doing it for money, he's doing it for the greater good." Um, what? So, if someone offers to pay me to hide ads in the daily, that's not okay, but if OpenAI pays someone to do the same thing, that's perfectly fine? Yeah, that's not a double standard at all.

It just seems really weird to me. I mean, if you're going to pay someone to hide ads, why not just be upfront about it? Why all the secrecy and loopholes? It's like they're trying to hide something.

Anyway, I just thought this was really weird and wanted to share.
